Ustyle SRL ("the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") operates the Ustyle AI-powered fashion styling platform. This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service, tells You about Your privacy rights, and explains how the law protects You under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data privacy frameworks.

Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, a cellphone, or a digital tablet. End User means a consumer, visitor, or shopper browsing the Customer's online store who views, clicks, or otherwise interacts with the embedded Ustyle widget or plugin features. Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. Service refers to the Ustyle SaaS platform infrastructure, including its background data synchronization modules, backend styling dashboards, and embeddable frontend scripts. Service Provider (Sub-processor) means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company to facilitate, deliver, or analyze the performance of the Service. Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of an widget interaction or a page visit layout sync). Website refers to the Ustyle website, accessible from https://ustyle.it. You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other business legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing the platform, as applicable.
We operate as a Data Controller regarding our direct business Merchants' account data, and as a Data Processor regarding the data fetched from End User shoppers via e-commerce store integrations.
A. Merchant & Staff Administrative Data While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information collected directly via the platform includes: • Email address • First name and last name • Corporate phone number and physical business address • Flat-fee SaaS subscription payment tokens and administrative transaction logs B. End User / Shopper Device and Activity Data (Via App Scopes) In strict alignment with the API authorizations granted during App installation, our embedded widget automatically processes the following data from visitors browsing your storefront: • Device and Activity Data: Localized geolocation data, IP addresses, browser type, browser version, operating system configurations, unique device identifiers, and specific client ID tracking cookies. • Storefront Browsing Behavior: Interaction timestamps, clickstream patterns, items viewed, and styling layout choices selected within the Ustyle frame. C. Order History Data Transaction Analytics: In accordance with our requested data scopes, our backend platform fetches and evaluates storefront order history for the preceding sixty (60) days. This processing is executed solely to compile conversion performance dashboards and compute revenue metrics directly attributed to the Ustyle styling engine.
The Company utilizes processed personal and technical data for the following explicit purposes: • To provide and maintain our Service: Including managing automated nightly database synchronization updates and catalog optimizations. • To calculate conversion performance: Evaluating product analytics, identifying conversion trends, and populating the Customer's administrative dashboard metrics. • To manage Your Account: Authorizing access to platform tools and troubleshooting Merchant configuration sets. • To contact You: Managing service updates, processing notices, or technical alerts via email or electronic communication formats. • To comply with legal obligations: Adhering to applicable tax records, commercial laws, or valid regulatory tracking requests.
We respect data privacy and the proprietary boundaries of your store. The Company explicitly guarantees that: • No Public Algorithm Training: We do not sell, rent, or distribute personal data or store transaction history to third parties. • Data Segregation: Non-anonymized product listings, customer checkout identities, and shopper activity metrics are never utilized to train, tune, or alter the generalized public weights of base machine learning models (such as Google Vertex AI, Gemini, or Google Imagen 3 frameworks). All operations are handled through enterprise cloud infrastructure parameters where input retention rules are locked down.
We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies (beacons, tags, and scripts) to track active sessions on Our Service and securely deliver the pre-generated outfit catalogs. The technologies We use include: • Session Cookies: Essential to authenticate user access, preserve dashboard panel variables, and prevent fraudulent usage profiles. • Ustyle Widget Cookies: Placed on End User devices to track temporary click histories, link a styling choice to an immediate shopping basket conversion, and prevent double-loading visual assets during a single active browsing session. You can instruct Your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if You do not accept functional session cookies, certain features of our visualization dashboards or embeddable widget animations may fail to execute correctly.
The Company does not share personal information except in the following limited situations required to maintain operational infrastructure: With Cloud Infrastructure Providers: We engage specialized enterprise cloud platforms to host application architecture, execute AI inference pipelines, and securely deliver pre-generated assets. These entities act as Sub-processors and are bound by strict contractual data-handling constraints: • Google Cloud Platform / Google Vertex AI / Google Imagen 3 (AI model inference and visual asset compilation) — EU and US infrastructure boundaries. • Microsoft Azure (Secure web application hosting and core asset storage buckets) — North Europe region. • Amazon Web Services (DynamoDB transaction states and database routing networks) — EU (Frankfurt) region. • PostHog (Internal product utilization metrics optimization) — EU instance. • Cloudflare (CDN, DNS caching, and DDoS protective edge networks) — Global edge parameters. For Corporate Transactions: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or corporate restructuring, data assets may be safely migrated under strict pre-closing non-disclosure covenants. For Law Enforcement: Under mandatory statutory conditions, the Company may be required to disclose active database nodes if legally compelled by an EU court or competent government public agency.
The Company retains Personal Data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the specific operational requirements defined in this Privacy Policy: • Direct Merchant account records are preserved for the duration of an active Subscription term plus standard statutory tax archiving requirements. • End User session logs, IP records, and active tracking cookies are automatically pseudonymized at the point of ingestion and completely purged from our active database layers within thirty (30) days. • Anonymized, aggregated performance conversion totals that do not contain personal identifiers may be stored indefinitely for historical reporting analysis.
Your information is processed at the Company's operational offices in Turin, Italy, and within the EU-based storage regions maintained by our infrastructure providers. To the extent that cross-border web traffic paths data through cloud endpoints located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such data transfers are structurally insulated using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure a uniform layer of data security.
You have the right to request deletion of the Personal Data we maintain about your account or store operations. Automated Removal Pipelines: The moment a Merchant uninstalls the Ustyle application from their Shopify or WooCommerce admin dashboard, our platform catches the uninstallation webhook loop. All synchronized catalog data, cache records, variant mappings, and associated customer analytics histories are permanently deleted across our active clusters within thirty (30) days of uninstallation. Manual Requests: You may correct, update, or demand manual deletion of specific account information records at any time by contacting us directly at [email protected].
Our Service is designed exclusively for business-to-business commerce operations and does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that any child data has accidentally bypassed our ingestion filters, we take immediate algorithmic steps to scrub that information from our active servers within 48 hours.
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time to maintain alignment with product evolutions or legal compliance updates.
